This role saw the coordination of a public art strategy for a private developer to satisfy a Development Application condition requiring a 1% ‘Fee for Art’ response.
- Established a Public Art Committee
- Developed the Concept Theme
- Coordinated an ‘Expression of Interest’ for selected artists
- Assisted the Committee as they select a preferred artist
- Worked with the artist during design, fabrication and installation
- Coordinated with all parties involved to meet Council, Developer and Builder requirements.
